NEOSEC, as part of its commitment to promoting Ocean Literacy in the region, hosts biannual Summits for formal and informal educators, scientists, and policymakers to share ideas and tools for doing so. 

The theme of the 2006 Ocean Literacy Summit was an introduction to the Ocean Literacy Principles, and resulted in several action items for the Collaborative. 

Join us on November 7 at Boston University for the 2008 Ocean Literacy Summit which will highlight the connection between the ocean and global climate change.
