Join 200 ocean scientists, educators, and policymakers as we exchange stories with colleagues, network with new partners, and learn how valuable Ocean Literacy can be to learning about our changing climate.

In May 2006 Dr. Emanuel was named one of Time magazine's "People Who Shape Our World" for his work connecting increasingly severe weather with a warmer ocean.
